About Dr. Ryan Goerig
The Founder of Augamis
Dr. Ryan Goerig is a world-class dermatologist, inventor, researcher, educator and author in the field of dermatology, including acne and hair loss. In terms of treatment philosophy, Dr. Goerig has always been very committed to preventative medicine, holistic therapy paradigms and natural health.
He has traveled to Brazil on medical dermatology missions and studied alternative medicine extensively while there. He strongly believes that traditional Western medicine is not the best treatment in every case for every person and that physicians need to have cognitive flexibility to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He attended medical school at Boston University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Goerig completed his dermatology residency at the top ranked Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Ryan devotes his time to family, surfing and traveling.
